"Dire ta sa Gensan"

Today is the last day of the 10th Gensan Tuna Festival. The city people are in the streets celebrating with their happy faces while watching various activities being held in Oval Plaza. The celebration started last week and if you’ll ask me if I have witnessed any of the said activities the answer would be a big NO. You see, it’s not really my “thing” and I can’t be bothered plus my parents won’t just let me especially my mother; her reason? It’s too crowded; it’s not safe, full of drunken people - hey! she's a mother, can't blame her for that - hehehe. But of course I have been to concerts and street parties but only because my friends invited me to.

Anyway, tonight, Gensan’s party people will be out in the streets to close the Tuna Festival with a bang. Some parts of Gensan will be closed for the Street Party, a karaoke contest in Oval Plaza, concert in Royale Hotel with Imago, JR and other bands/celebrities from Manila to entertain the crowd and there will be a fireworks display too.

Congrats to all the organizers of the 10th Gensan Tuna Festival. Keep up the good work. More power to General Santos City. To all Gensan earthlings! Happy Gensan Tuna Festival!!

P.S. Mk wants to catch a big Tuna … should I let him? Hehehe
- nah! he won't survive.. the Tuna will eat him - hehehe
